ORCHARD ROAD SHOPPING AND LIFESTYLE DISTRICT 

Orchard Road is Asia’s most well-known shopping and entertainment street with seven million visitors a year. It is also Singapore’s most-coveted residential area. 

There is a new glitz along Orchard Road today. The Singapore government’s vision of making it into “one of the world’s greatest shopping streets” is well underway. And soon, Orchard Road will become even more attractive, alluring and dazzling!

Three new super-malls – ION Orchard, Orchard Central and 313@Somerset - have opened their doors and are drawing shoppers with new offerings and brands. The revamped Mandarin Gallery has added new international brand offerings that complement Paragon which was spruced up recently to enhance shoppers’ experience. When Knightsbridge, which is opposite Mandarin Gallery and Paragon, opens its doors this year, this corner of Orchard Road and Bideford Road will be THE high-end fashion hub. Named after London’s famous shopping address, Knightsbridge promises timeless chic and classic style. 

At the centre of Orchard Road, another exciting hub is in the making. Families and younger shoppers are drawn to the revamped Centrepoint, the new 313@Somerset and Orchard Central with its unique alfresco and roof garden dining with breathe-taking view and the world's tallest indoor Via Ferrata Wall. Coming soon is the Discovery Walk, a new sheltered pedestrian mall over the Stamford Canal, which will be abuzz with shops and outdoor refreshment areas, providing a refreshing shopping experience. Once the redevelopment of the former Agent Centre is completed, Discovery Walk will link Orchard Central to 313@Somerset.

Besides becoming a pulse for fashion, Orchard Road is becoming a more exciting place for events and all things hip and happening. Large-scale annual events, such as the Christmas Lightup, Chingay Parade, Singapore Fashion Festival and Great Singapore Sale add more excitement and vibrancy to Orchard Road.
 

High net-worth individuals and institutions from around the world have purchased premium properties in Orchard. About 34% of the private property buyers in Orchard are foreigners, compared to the national average of 27% foreign buyers for private residential properties.

滨海湾
未来的新加坡新市中心,正提供着令人激动的无限机遇。新加坡政府计划把现有的金融区扩大,吸引外商投资、旅客及人才。滨海湾将成为金融及商业活动的脉络,供应临海美景的先进甲级写字楼,与世界各地大城市并驾齐驱。
 

国家发展部长马宝山在新加坡建筑师学会2007年第45届餐会上说道:我们目标把滨海湾发展为一个全年无休的生活、工作、休闲娱乐环境我们所希望看到的一个充满活力的环球都市 

此次发言之后,滨海湾新区即将成为现实。逾110亿美元的投资以及滨海湾金沙综合娱乐城施工工程均已启动。政府已透露滨海湾花园的理念以及把滨水城市的规模扩大进一步延伸到邻近的新加坡河(Singapore River)和加冷盆地(Kallang Basin)地区的规划。至2015年,滨海湾远景规划将全部实现。
 

BUKIT TIMAH PRIME RESIDENTIAL GREEN BELT
 

A prime residential district with choice schools


Bukit Timah is a quiet and dignified residential precinct near the famous Orchard Road. It is an area with lush greenery, high-end condominium developments, shop houses, great eating outlets and most importantly, many good local and international schools and expatriate clubs. 

Bukit Timah is the choice location for parents who have school-going children. Good local schools in the neighbourhood include Raffles Girls’ Primary School, Methodist Girls’ School, Nanyang Girls’ High School, and Hwa Chong Junior College. 

The Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Institute of Management and international schools such as the German School and Hollandse School are also located in Bukit Timah. 

The area has a variety of intimate and fine dining outlets and shopping centres.

Nature lovers can walk along the nature trail or climb the highest hill in Singapore at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, soak in the scenery or take a leisurely walk along the “Kampong” or Village Trail that leads to MacRitchie Reservoir. 

Foreign clubs in the area include the British Club, the Swiss Club, the Island County Club, the Bukit Timah Saddle Club and the Raffles Town Club.

EAST COAST 
 

Situated at the south-eastern part of Singapore, the East is the residential choice for locals and foreigners. 

A key draw is the East Coast Park, which has a total land size of 185-hectares and 20 km linear park of white sandy beaches. It offers a wide array of recreational and sporting facilities like golf driving ranges, holiday chalets, camp sites, barbecue pits, bowling alleys, restaurants and a hawker centre. During the weekends, the East Coast Park is a hive of activities with families enjoying picnics or the sea breeze and water sports activities. The East Coast Park attracts more than 7.5 million visitors a year. 

The Playground @ Big Splash located along East Coast offers a range of exciting lifestyle activities for the family. Children can learn to play tennis, in-line skate, ride a bicycle or even play golf. An assortment of dining experiences can be found at dining outlets such as Seafood International Market and Restaurant, 1 TwentySix, Yoshimaru Ramen Bar, Sushi Tei and Indian Times.

A 42-km Eastern Coastal Park Connector network links up East Coast Park to Changi Beach Park, Pasir Ris Park, Bedok Reservoir Park, Bedok Town Park. As residents can walk or cycle from one park to another via this network, recreational options for residents in the East are enhanced.
 

The East Coast is an easy drive to Changi International Airport and the Marina Bay New Downtown via the East Coast Parkway.

东海岸


东海岸,海滨生活最佳住宅区
